Remote Terminal Units (RTUs)

Chemtrols offers Callisto family of Remote Terminal Units from Remsdaq. This feature-rich building block for utility automation offers a single solution from a simple pole-top device to a fully integrated Substation Control System. Callisto has small compact hardware that is ideally suited for use as Bay Controller, which can be easily mounted in the Bay Control Panels. The distributed architecture of Callisto allows Individual units to be connected together over a LAN. This drastically cuts down the cost of cumbersome wiring and makes the installation simple.
With its flexible approach to I/O, Callisto offers cost effective technology for applications ranging from a conventional RTU to a sophisticated IEC 61850 implementation.
Callisto offers high accuracy for Transducer-less AC measurements, disturbance and event recording and a wealth of protection functions.
This high performing unit is backed by simple-to-use configuration tools, an industry standard IEC 61131-3 logic application and secure web browser technology.
Compliant to the latest IEC 61850 standard, Callisto RTUs include an extensive library of standard communication protocols like IEC 60870-5-101 / 103 / 104, DNP 3.0 and Modbus.
